Bergman? Woah!
 

I have just recently begun delving into the infinite abyss that is the work of Ingmar Bergman. I must say as of yet I have been completely blown away. I haven't felt this excited about seeing a group of films since I first discovered David Lynch.

I don't know why I waited so long to give him a shot, but I'm glad that I finally did.

Please report back after seeing Persona.

Seventh Seal remains one of my personal all-time favorites.

Actually, Persona was the first one I saw. It's what convinced me to delve deeper into his work. It's been my favorite so far, but Seventh Seal was a close second.

I recommend The Virgin Spring and Winter Light.

I actually just finished The Virgin Spring about ten minutes ago. I'm trying to get a hold of winter light, but that one seems to be a little more elusive. I've heard good things about the whole faith trilogy, which I hope to get to soon.
