I read the short story long ago by Stephen King, and really enjoyed it, accept for the ending. Just went and saw the movie tonight, different ending, I loved it. It's just a bump & jump horror movie, but without giving anything away, I'll just say the ending steps out a bit. Anyone who has read the story and enjoyed it will probably like the movie.

Anyone know when this is gonna be released in the UK?

Also read the short story and to be honest the original King ending wound me up something rotten, so it will be interesting to see what Darabont has done with it.

Is this the same story used as the basis for one in that golden gem of a movie called Creepshow 2?
