Cant seem to capture on Avid Media composer.
 

Hi there, I need some help here. For some reason when I try to capture using the free Avid Free DV program it seems to work fine. I can get a picture without any problem.

However when I try to capture using Avid Media Composer it says that there is no imput signal connected.

I can only see one thing that is different between the two capture windows. These are;
the box next to Video says OHCI on the Avid Free DV
and Host-1394 on the Avid Media Composer.

Im capturing through a mini DV cam through the Firewire cable.
Can anyone please help me out?


UPDATE
I have managed to get it to work with the mini DV cam, but I cant see the picture on the computer.

Make sure you have the video and audio tracks selected for capture in the capture window.

I had that selected and it now seems to work. Although it randomly turns off the screen and stops playing, although I can see it playing on the camera still.
