Avid Liquid 7-squeeze 3 hours to 1DVD
I want to squeeze 3 hours(seminar shooting) onto 1DVD 4.7gb -if I have to cut the frames 24fps ,how do I do that with Avid Liquid 7
How much footage can take a double layer -high quality? Thank you |
You can fit 3 hours on a DVD if it was captured at 24fps. Easily so with dual layer (with twice as much space).

2 things about DCDs
FIRST a 4.7 gig DVD is really 4.34 gigs (formatting the disc and other vital info that the mfg stores on it) SECOND, learn about BITRATES-by setting the proper BITRATE you can get 3 hours of infomation on a single layer DVD-I don't recommend putting action footage as it will not be the best quality but I also shoot a lot of seminars and it can be done. I routinely put 3 hours of footage on a disc because there is very little movement to degrade the look of the images. Bitrates are your friend ;-) Don |
