Desparate trying to find the best 60i to 50i HDV solution.
Did someone render NTSC to PAL in Avid?
Does it work well?

Oki. I'm not sure you can you can edit and convert from PAL to NTSC or visa versa in Avid.
I could be wrong. I've never tried or done it. Sorry. I've always sent my NTSC master out to an outside company that does conversions with a hardware converter.

You might need a 3rd party conversion tool. You might try www.dvfilm.com... a product called Atlantis.
