When I convert 60i I see 2 images in 1 frame.. How do I stop this?
Hi,
I have a Sony DSC-TX7 which is capable of AVCHD 60i recording. When I convert the .MTS file with Toast Premium 10 (tried it 60p, 30p, and 29.97p, deinterlaced), I see two images in one frame. If a person is running in the video and I pause the video for an individual frame, I see a blurry image of the person's next movement on top of the person. Is there a way to make this not happen, so that when I stop on a frame I only see one image? Also, Toast recognizes my videos as 29.97fps. Does 60i mean I can convert it to 60fps, or is it just 29.97fps? Thank you. |
Toast does not de-interlace, despite the export setting implying it does.
Try JES De-Interlacer (free), but first use ClipWrap (not quite free) to turn the AVCHD file into a quicktime that JES can use (ClipWrap does not re-encode). Another thing to try: Final Cut Express. Perhaps iLife 09 iMovie also can do it. |
