stop/start record on GH5 at 4k 50/60P

Does the GH5 "stop/start record" work via HDMI with the Shogun Inferno when recording 4K 50/60P?

Mine works on all other recording settings but not on 4K 50P which means I have to press record on the Shogun everytime.

Not sure if I have set it up wrong or if it's not technically possible.
