Should disk caddy be flush?
I'm a brand new owner of a Samurai Blade. So far, so good, but I have one (probably naive!) question.
When I inserted the disk caddy into the Samurai for the first time I was expecting it to be flush with the edge of the unit but it sticks out about 3mm. At first I thought it wasn't mounting properly (I certainly didn't hear a click as described in the manual) but I was nervous about forcing it. It works fine, but I'm concerned that if it isn't properly mounted it might cause issues on a shoot. Should it be flush or is this normal? Thanks for any peace of mind you can offer. |
Re: Should disk caddy be flush?
Hey Ian,
No, as you stated it does stick out about 3mm or so. The click is for the older Samurai and Ninja that do have a locking device. The Blades do not. Everything sounds like its working correctly. |
Re: Should disk caddy be flush?
Phew! Many thanks Travis. I'm very relieved!
