Just got my Intel 520-series 180gb which I will be testing over the weekend. I've had no isssues with the 320-series SSD since I got it a couple of months ago.

I put this to Atomos on their facebook page and they have given me a very useful response:

Atomos do make ever best effort to keep their approved updated and you should see Intel 320 on the current list (see following link). It’s an on-going process but always worth checking directly with support@atomos if you have a query. Please see the current list here: 401 - 2.5" Hard Disks (HDD) And Solid State Drive (SSD) Recommendations - ATOMOS

So, a link to their knowledgebase site with the current list of recommended drives certainly expands on their main website and now includes OCZ drives too, as well as the 320 series.

Atomos do seem to have very good, proactive support.

Kingston 240GB HYPERX 2.5" Solid State Drive SH100S3/240G

Update on the HyperX SSD. The next time I tried to use the drive it completely died. Neither the Samurai or my computer would recognize the drive at all - it was dead. Tried two others, and they worked for some time and then completely died. Looks like the Samurai is somehow frying the drive - maybe when hot swapping??? Anyway, stay away from this one with the Samurai.
