Hi Guys

I am doing some research into building my lighting kit. I got some useful tips from Dean Collins photography DVDs and saw his use of P22 and P42 Lightform panels. Unfortunately it seems the company have gone gone out of business ( lightform)

The idea of the frame just popping out and stretching the fabric over the four corners was what grabbed me. Just wondering if anyone could recommend a replacement product ?

Thanks

Stil,

Google suggests that Chimera is doing something like the older lightform pattern stock.

Personally, I missed out on the Lightforms era.

I use Photoflex pop-ups for nearly all my reflector fill. Quick, easy and you can stand mount them on an arm and if the wind kicks up, they just become a weathervane rather than a sail until you can kick someone loose to hold them.

If you need bigger, the standard Wescott 6x6 ScrimJims have been around forever and you can always get parts and new fabric for them.

Also, if you need a pattern on the wall, some black wrap, a pocket knife, and some creativity is good - AND cheap.
