here's some handheld footy shot with a letus35A on a sony pd170 (with flash setting 'on' for those sony users who know what that means).
all shot with a 50mm nikkor lens.

Hey Bryan,
The footage looks nice! Just wondering, when the focus is dead-on it looks a little soft. Is that a result of this setup, or the camera is just a little soft to begin with?

well, i always have my sharpness set all the way off, i prefer a softer look myself. if i get a chance i'll do some tests with the sharpness set higher.
i predict that the image might become undesirably sharp, to the point where it looks like video again and who wants that?? hahah

Yeah, it looks nice, it just could use a little more definition I think. Or maybe I'm thinking contrast?
How much did the addon gear cost?

the letus was $350US, i picked up a used nikkor camera at a local camera shop for $90CDN and that came with a 50mm lens. i also have a sigma fisheye that i got on ebay for around 200$ and a tamron 135mm that my father handed down to me. i havent gotten around to getting any support rods for the adapter since its not too heavy and i usually shoot handheld so my hand supports the add on lens anyways.
