Chris Barcellos July 26th, 2007, 01:24 AM Yvette: Very original, entertaining, and education all in one ! I enjoyed watching that !
Rob Evans July 26th, 2007, 05:09 AM Hi Yvette - I have to agree with Chris and echo his comments - it was really cool, and i think it would work well as an education to kids too ;-)
Defiantely a unique entry - well done!
Geir Inge July 26th, 2007, 07:42 AM Hi Yvette.
I wonder - have you met Ruth?
Those voices where amusing :)
Loved the way you approach the topic and the story.
My two daughters loved it very much and so did I.
Wish you good luck in uwol.

Catherine Russell July 26th, 2007, 09:03 AM Yvette!
How simply fun! How creative. It was so cute and different! Boy, I would sure rather be drip #2 than drip #1. Nice job!
Welcome to the uwol family!

Dale Guthormsen July 26th, 2007, 03:04 PM Good afternoon,
This was one of my favorites!!! I truly enjoyed it. bit shakey a times but still a pleasure.
Steve Siegel July 26th, 2007, 06:04 PM Yvette,
What a pleasant surprise. After watching your entry I just sat and smiled.
Your ending was especially charming. Keep it up.
David Gemmell July 27th, 2007, 01:48 AM Hi Yvette,
My family and I really enjoyed your movie - what a wonderful approach to the theme! Very funny in places and a joy to watch.
I think you may have stummbled onto something (with the chipmunks voice) here, as our boys actually put there play station controllers down to come over and sit next to me to watch your entry.
Well done Yvette...
Jeff Hendricks July 28th, 2007, 09:08 AM What a sweet little film you have created. This would be awesome as an introductory science lesson for very young children. I love the characters and the whole cyclic story.
A few comments; perhaps a few less moving camera shots, more tripod shots and some interesting animation, and you have a piece that could be used in classrooms throughout the world to tell the tale of water on the planet.
Oh yeah, thank you for being the only one to include surfers in your film. I love surfing (even though I am an awful surfer)...:)
Jeff
Kevin Railsback July 28th, 2007, 10:08 AM Yvette,
What a fun film. Sure reminded me of a Ruth Happel film. :)
I always look forward to her films and now I will look forward to yours as well.
A little shaky on some of the waterfall shots etc. But, maybe that's what you were aiming for with the camera acting as the drip bouncing around in the water.
A few of the water shots were blown out but with whitewater, you have to compromise somewhere.
This film was allot of fun!!
Meryem Ersoz July 28th, 2007, 10:25 AM Hi Yvette,
our boys actually put there play station controllers down to come over and sit next to me to watch your entry.
well, if that isn't a screaming endorsement, i don't know what is.....
welcome to UWOL, yvette. glad you jumped in, the water's fine, so to speak. looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Ruth Happel July 31st, 2007, 02:44 PM Hi,
As Geir pointed out, I usually also have voices of generally voiceless (bushes, a dog, etc.) so since I didn't do that this time, glad there was someone else who did :) Very fun to watch- creative way to get across your message.
Ruth
Trond Saetre July 31st, 2007, 04:20 PM Hi Yvette, welcome to the UWOL Family.
Your film was one of the most fun and entertaining films to watch.
Nice voice overs you have.
Hope you stay with us in the future challenges.
We need more of the fun stuff, and you really delivered that.
Thank you for sharing.
Bruce Foreman July 31st, 2007, 09:17 PM A very unique concept, very well presented and with just the right touch of humor. I enjoyed the variety of visuals you presented, Each of your shots had a special feel to it.
A fun film to watch.
Per Johan Naesje August 5th, 2007, 06:07 AM Hi Yvette, first of all sorry for my late response to your film!
This was very cool and different from what I have seen so far! Second most of what others have commented.
Liked it very much, keep up your good work, hope to see you next round!
Marco Wagner August 21st, 2007, 06:44 PM Likewise on the lateness. I really liked what you did with this one, some great imagination.
