Hi,
is there a driver/application out there that lets me stream live video from the Sony FX-1 in HDV Mode in Windows. If I am in DV Mode everything is fine. The camera gets recognized, i open Windows Media Encoder and stream to my server.
If the Camera is in HDV Mode the computer sees a Microsoft AV/C Tape Unit where I can capture Video with HDV Split but any streaming software doesn't sees the cam.
Until yesterday I thought that is as good as it gets but now I saw that 1. Vegas 7 can see the live pic of the FX-1 in HDV Mode and Wirecast a broadcasting Software can stream HDV. I found the Demo working in HDV and streaming is fine. Backside of Wirecast is its about 750$ including HDV SUpport and I stream maybe 2-3 times a month and earn no money with it.
So if Vegas and Wirecast can do this is there maybe a little app that replaces the AV/C Driver or which enables other software like WME to use the FX-1 in HDV Mode for streaming broadcasts?
Thanks for your answers.
