Hello, everybody!
I am curious about the Canon HV10's playback ability for editing and transfer purposes.
Obviously, it can play back 1080i and DV video (is this 480i or 480p?) since that is what it records in. But let's say somebody gives me a MiniDV tape recorded in 720p. Will the camcorder be able to play it back? What about other formats?
And, is playback separate from capture to computer? Like, for example, can all of the various formats (480i, 480p, 720i, 720p, 1080i, etc.) and frame rates (24, 30) be played back and captured?
Man, I hope all this makes sense. Please advise if you can! Thank you!
