the iris won't work and the display says "F 1.0"
the shutter is locked on "30 (as in "30seconds)
the focus goes out of whack after zooming in, manually focusing, and then zooming out
It's on its way to Canon for repair but wonder if anyone has ever heard of anything like that.
BTW, it does this in ALL modes, auto and manual, and when powered either by battery or AC supply.
this coincides with a problem I discovered with some footage recently downloaded into Premiere. The audio is way out of synch. I've not changed any parameters to the software/hardware editing so I'm suspicious the time code was somehow corrupted either in playback or recording?
