I'm trying to capture large amounts of raw .m2t footage and convert it to large CFHD AVI files with the M2 rotation.
The capture tool seems to want to stop encoding when the AVI file reaches a certain small file size (e.g. 290 MB) and then continue on until the next 290 MB size is reached, make another file, etc...these starts/stops could be right in the middle of a take. The file size varies on different attempts but stays fairly consistant within a capture session....it will look like this:
CFHD.avi 290 MB
CFHD-001.avi 290.8 MB
CFHD-002.avi 291.7 MB
CFHD-003.avi 290.8 MB
CFHD-004.avi 290.8 MB
and so on.
Scene split is turned to "off." I've tried various quality settings with no change in performance.
What is going on here?
