I'm in desperate need of a proper wide angle conversion lens to go with my HV20. Already tried two which turned out to be utterly useless.

Here is a still done with a Raynox HD-5050 37mm with 37>43mm conversion ring

For obvious reasons, I decided to replace it with another lens, chose the Raynox HD-4500 (52-> 43mm) which was slightly more expensive and in many ways even worse:

Please could someone who uses the WD-43 post up some stills of how the image looks like with the lens on and without it? The Canon isn't much more expensive than the HD4500 and I can probably have it replaced at an extra charge.

I'm also concerned about the size of the WD-43. The Raynox is 78mm wide by 65mm deep an just about fits into my camera bag. Hope the Canon isn't any bigger?

Hi Alex,

I see what you mean...

In the odd chance it's really the WD43 you're looking for (and not the WDH43), you're in luck, I posted some tests a while back in this thread:

The WD43 is 40mm deep and about 65mm in outer diameter.
