I have tried to set my viewfinder to Black and White. I went in to the display set up menu and tried to change my Viewfinder Colour setting to the lowest possible. But it still gives me colour.

The only way possible is to set the "CVF + LCD BW" to on and then I get them both to be in Black and White.

Is there a possible to get only the view finder to B&W while retaining the LCD to colour?

any custom display changes will affect both the lcd and evf. to do what you want, you'd have to set your lcd/evf to display in black&white and use an external color monitor -- the black&white setting will not affect the video outputs.
