I am currently building a 35 mm adapter for my XL1 and I have no idea how to attach it to my camera. I see by the pics on Watchdog that there is a lens attached, but the instructions I have are only for the Panasonic DVX.

Some possibilities to consider depending on your optical path

1. Step-down rings, provided you can support the weight and not over stress the XL1 lens threads.

3. Cannibalize Bayonet mount adapter from a lens accessory

3. Buy one of the adapters or a used lens that mounts on the XL1 (e.g., the 1.6x or EOS adapter) and cannibalize the mount.

4. Machine a mount from a block of metal.
