I searched the forums, but didn't find answer to my question.

It is known that one type of a tape brand should be used for one camera,
but what about cleaning tapes?

I use TDK tapes for my camera, but can I then use a Sony cleaning tape?

As far as I'm aware, any reputable brand cleaning tape for MiniDV (I'm assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that's what you were reffering to?) will do the job. Maybe someone here has tried a number and can recommend one over another, but from my limited experience any "name" brand should be safe and effective.
