I'm looking for a small, back up field recorder. I've read lots on comparable units but can't seem to find much on this one.

I usually shoot as a one man band so I'd like something with a good limiter so that once I've set the levels, I can more or less forget about it.

I also read somewhere, that at least at one point in time, Fostex products had a 99 minute file size limit. Is that the case with this unit?

Looks good on paper, but I'd like to hear from users.

I have one and the audio quality is very good... good preamps but only 40db gain. File limit default is 2GB, but can be changed in the menu to 4GB.
