Hi, i own a Sony HDR-SR1 AVCHD and i know that the FCP 5 wont support that format. Does anyone know if the new FCP 6 does??? and how do i import images from the camera???

that FCP 6.0.1 will handle AVCHD. However I don't know how you would get it into FCP without FireWire. Phil Hodgetts recommended transcoding to Pro Res 422 to edit. Check on Apple's website for more information.
