Looking for a good, small LCD for focus and easier framing/viewing in the field, I do not want to bring a large setup so I was looking between 5.6 and 10inch, with 7 or 8inch looking the most promising. Are there any great deals or any standouts? I am shooting HD so should I look for a 1080 or at least 720 or does it matter at that small size? are they at all useful for color checking? or for that matter for focus checking? I am looking at the http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/400388-REG/Varizoom_VZTFT7U_VZ_TFT7U_7_Inch_LCD_Monitor.html for about 490.00 the http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/396770-REG/Ikan_V7000_V_7000_7_Inch_Widescreen_LCD.html for 330.00 and the http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/484772-REG/Ikan_V8000HD_V_8000HD_8_LCD_Monitor.html for 750.00 that says 1080/720 support, but has less horizontal elements and more verticle, is this helpful?
What do you use? Larger? smaller? would love to hear some feedback. Thanks.
