Casey Visco May 19th, 2003, 02:36 PM Provid in Amsterdam is probably our closest dealer. check out http://www.provid.nl/ or contact them directly at: provid@euronet.nl Hope this helps Scott Poolen May 20th, 2003, 01:56 PM Thanks! They e-mailed me back and yes, they offer a glidecam 2000 pro, and it costs 750. So I'll have to save up for it :) Rob Lohman May 20th, 2003, 02:22 PM Which Glidecam are you looking for and for which camera? Scott Poolen May 20th, 2003, 02:32 PM Which glidecam? An affordable one :) I've seen equipment up to 66,000 dollars on some websites and that is a bit outside my budget. My camcorder is a Canon XM-2. Rob Lohman May 20th, 2003, 02:41 PM So you are looking for a V-8 then I assume? I myself have a XL1s so that would mean a V-16 :( I was wondering which of those devices they were offering for 750 euro's (excluding tax I'm sure) Casey Visco May 20th, 2003, 04:19 PM a 2000pro will handle a GL2 (XM-2) just fine, but wont give you any upgrade options...meaning don't try to put anything heavier on there. and rob, a V-8 is more than adequate for an XL1s. I used to fly an XL1 plus a bunch of added accesories with great results. I used to toss a GL1 on a V-8 as well and found it to be a little to small and lightweight for that rig (even if adding a bunch of weight to the top to compensate) Rob Lohman May 20th, 2003, 05:11 PM Did I mix some of those up then? hmmm... could be. Thanks. |
