Hi folks,
I wondered if this issue that I'm having is a function of the particular audio card I'm using or is there a setting in Vegas that would solve it for me.
Here's what I want to do: Sometimes I listen to an MP3 or a radio show on the internet, and it's coming from the internet - through the computer - to my speakers. What I want to do is capture that audio with Vegas.
The sound card I'm using is a RME hammerfall multiface - 8 in - 8 out. What happens when I choose that card under options>audio>audio devices is that it gives me that "thump, thump, thump" sound that comes when you get a feedback loop or audio loop. It appears to be just looping over and over - forever. This happens as soon as I "arm" the audio channel to record.
Perhaps I should just load a piece of audio into Vegas, and go from there. But I would like to be able to record whatever I"m listening to.
I work for a radio station that wanted to record their own shows, and it would be helpful for them too.
Thanks,
Milt
