Is it possible to edit a avchd file, and insert a menu and chapters (pinnacle studio 11 or other), and then burn it to a DVD to read in a PS3?

Thanks

To build a DVD with menu and chapters you'll need to edit & author it with something like encore or the instant DVD recorder - but I've never used that so don't know its merits etc... You can watch the AVCHD files back natively on the PS3 because they're based on BDMV, but they won't work as a DVD video as the format is completely different.

I think, its monday morning, so....

The just released free upgrade patch to Pinnacle Studio 11 (makes it ver 11.1) adds burning support to a disk that will play on Blu-Ray players (and I assume the PS3 as well).

I don't have an AVCHD camcorder yet but am considering the Panasonic HDC SD1.
