Hi,

I've searched on the forum and couldn't find anything specific about using these tripods with the XH-A1. Does anyone know if these would work well together?

Should it work right out of the box with my camera?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks!

They'd work incredibly. If you have money for that head, then by all means!

I bought the Miller Solo DV legs and the Bogen 516 head (with 75mm ball leveler) - I'm very very happy.

I was just worried that I may need to get something extra to make it work from the kit that BH sells, but it sounds like I would be set out of the gate.

I think with this head and legs I would be set for a long time.

Well.. I got my "sticks" and I love them. But, I think they are waaaaay overkill for this camera. I think it was meant for heavier cameras because I can't seem to get it to balance properly enough forward on the head. I guess the only way to get it heavier is to get a 35mm adapter and a mattebox :). Hehe, I wish. Is there anything I could get so that I can get the camera more forward on the top of the "sled" thing?

Edit: I figured out how to adjust that little wedge piece so now it is just at the COG. Perfect.. Awesome tripod.
