I know that the FX7 does not have the Cineframe 30 mode or a true 30p mode, but I was wondering if there is a way to get a 30p effect from the FX7? I currently own the FX1, and the FX7 looks very attractive with it's higher resolution, CMOS latitude, longer zoom, and smaller/lighter body. But, the only thing that I'm concerned about loosing is the Cineframe 30 feature of the FX1. I use that quite often, especially in low light conditions.
So, could a Cineframe 30 effect be obtained by just lowering the shutter to 30? That would still record the image as interlaced in the FX7 instead of non-interlaced like with the FX1, right?
Or, would deinterlacing the 60i footage achieve a similar result?
I hope this question hasn't been asked, but I have searched through and haven't found anything. Thanks!
