Hi guys,
i usually works with progressive uncompressed footage (Viper etc...)and i have not to much experience in HDV interlaced,
here the question:
I have to edit and finish an HDV 1080 50i material shooted with sony FX1
my intention is to deinterlace the 50i footage and make it 25p becouse the 50i looks to "Video" and i want to simulate "Cine style",
also i need to grade it , stabilyze and sometimes slomo in shake
have you a suggestion for the workflow?
my doubt are:
-i have to convert in a better format before to work HDV on shake?like apple intermediate codec etc...?I know that HDV is too compressed to do grading etc...
-is it Shake Good to make 25P from 50i?
i have unly used DVFilm Maker in the past to create 25p from 50i...
Thanks!
gabriele
