Can I use my FX1 as an analog to firewire pass thru device? Looks like i have a situation where i may have an analog feed, but i need to capture it live using DV Rack.. Which of course needs a Firewire input.. Can this be done?? (no HD here, just DV)

Yeah, sure you can do this. Check the manual under the "Dubbing/Editing" section for "signal conversion function".
