I'm looking for some good footage shot with the True Color V3 for the HD200/250 models. The color in the footage that i'm finding seems to be washed out. The colors just aren't that vivid it seems, i'm trying to compare the JVC with the HVX200 color rendition..... is there a setting that would come close to matching the colors from the HVX? I really like the image of the Panasonic, but i really like the form factor of the JVCs.

The way color looks out of the JVC can be very finely adjusted to look just about anyway you want. True, out of the box it does look a little washed out- but you can tweak and adjust to get whatever kind of look you want. In fact I believe there is even a scene file called "panamatch" that matches the color reproduciton of panasonic. I will try to post some clips later if I have time.

That would be awesome Adam, I'm really interested in seeing scenes where there are alot of color, curious on how much the scene files help the camera reproduce accurate colors.

Brian,
Have you seen this comparison of color reproduction? Seems like Mr. Graff matched the two fairly well to his chip chart.
