I'm looking for some kind of stand I can rest and secure my JonyJib on. This stand would also be very helpful when assembling the jib arm.

Anyone have any suggestions or seen anything that might work?

How are you securing or holding up your jib arm? I'm looking for a solution to rest the jib arm on while setting up, etc. anyone?

I'm still "crane-less", so no actual experience, although a Bogen super clamp/c-stand might have some possibilities... Steve

Thanks for the info, but I don't think that's going to work for my jib arm. I need something more like an "upside down horseshoe" shape to cradle the jib arm.

I use a 5 ft folding aluminum step ladder that I purchased from Home Depot.
It has a plastic covered top step that has a holder tha I can put small items like bolts in. The tip of the jib arm rests perfectly on the top step. ( I use the EZFX jib.)

Use a speaker stand and make a yoke with 1" pipe that fits into the stand. You'll need something like 3 6" lengths, 2 nipples, a tee, and (2)elbows. You can cover the pipe with insulation to make it a nice and soft landing. Or on the cheaper/lighter you can use 1"dowell/closet rod and one of those plastic coated bike hooks.
