Anyone have HV10 low light footage they can post?

I am debating between the HV10 and HV20. The HV20 costs almost 50% more than the HV 10 now (HV10 goes for $699 now, while HV20 is over $1000, I missed out on the Dell sale.), since 24p does not matter all that much to me, the only thing left for me to compare is the low light performance. (well, it sucks that the HV10 does not have headphone or microphone jacks, but I can live without them.)

well if you get the hv20 on circuit city, its only 964. you can easily get a 10% coupon and take it to the 870 range. it makes no sense to get a hv10 with that close of price. especially if youre worried about low light...24p is better for that.

Anyways, 870 range is not likely, unless you live where there's no sales tax.

Would still be about $950.

I already have the HV10, so I'm not going to buy the HV20 as well. I find Program mode in TV Shutter priority with 30fps, 70% zebras, and adjusting exposure works best for low light.

The HV10 is readily available online for $699 with free shipping and no sales tax. That's how I got it. ;)

I missed out on the Amazon/Tiger Direct and Dell sales, which were both around $870 shipped. But most, if not all of those orders were cancelled anyways.

But one thing the HV10 has over the HV20 is size. The HV20 is significantly larger. I can practically carry the HV10 everywhere, while the more bulky HV20 is more difficult to fit into my murse/manbag. :p

Either way, I grew tired of waiting for the HV20 to drop significantly in price. I suppose I'll eventually get the latest and greatest Canon HDV cam whatever it is in the future, and the HV10 will serve as a deck for it.

Another big difference I noticed is the LCD is brighter and more contrast on the HV20 than the HV10.
