I'm doing mostly weddings and I'm leading toward getting 2 G2 100 Senns. One for the groom and one for officiant. I plan on also getting audio from the board at ceremony and reception with IRiver. My main question is... if I get 2 Senns should I get that for different frequencies. I'm assuming so. (?)

Also, before I go ahead and purchase 2 G2 100 mics I'm looking for any input/advice that may affect my decision. Any thoughts on audio for weddings is appreciated.

They could be in the same frequency block but when you use them you'd put each pair on a different frequency within the block. The blocks are hardwired in firmware but the channels within the block are user selectable. By getting all of your units in the same block you can mix and match transmitters and receivers without worry.

Audio-Technica just came out with their 1800 series. There is a nice dual channel receiver and two transmitter kit on B&H for $1200. A little more than two G2 100 kits, but you will only need one receiver. Just something to think about.
