First off, thanks to everyone on this board who helped me in making a buying decision for the XH-G1. I am a happy customer!

I have a question regarding the G1 and output from tape. I need to be able to send center cropped 4:3 SD out on the SDI line. After going through the settings I seem to be able to only get letterboxed or stretched 16:9. What am I missing to get a center crop?

Maybe others will correct me (just got the XHA1 last week). Don't think the XHa1 does centre crop at all. If not, you'll have to output widescreen and crop it in an NLE.
