What's average price for a used and in good condition XL2?
It comes with original accessories in good condition.
TIA.

I'd say from $2500 to $2800, depending on condition.

i agree. $2800 would probably be the max I'd pay for a really good used one.

It's all about looking in the right kind of places to get a good price on a used one.

I picked up a second XL-2 for $2000 and it came with the $400 silver Canon case, 2 additional 7 hour batteries. A wideangle lens attachment, 2 wireless mics, and a mountable light with 2 shoulder strap batteries for light. Plus the camera was hardly used so it was a steal.

Nice find! How much would the average be if you were going to sell that package.

WHAO! I feel like I've been cheated. Where did you find this sweet deal?

Why pay $2500 (or even $2000) for a used XL2 when you can order a brand new XL2 body with warranty (after rebate) for $2500? You can pick up a decent used lens for $400. Unless you can inspect the unit carefully and the price is very right, I would avoid used hardware. I'd rather have a new body and a used lens for $3000, compared to a totally used unit for $2800.

Why go with any used equipment when some sites, like where I bought mine from, have the camera w/ lens for 3,049 (after rebate) with free shipping. You can get a brand new camera with a brand new lens for $3049.00 shipped. My opinion is to spend the extra couple hundred dollars and go all brand new, that way you take advantage of the warranty as well.
