I just finished (sort of) my 35mm adapter for my hv20 and i popped open the little lcd swivel hatch to do the lcd flip trick, but as those buttons are super flimsy, when i put the vertical flip button back in place after playing with it it seemed to work, but after rotating the screen a few times, it stopped working so I disassembled it again and the plastic piece inside the switch had popped out. Guess the angle of the switch is very important. Seems like its very tough to get it in exactly the right position. I found the piece and popped it back in and it was working again, but then i tried again and the same thing happened and it seems to be gone forever... so this is a warning! careful with your lcd flip switches!
i was planning to solder a manual switch on anyway so it shouldnt be a huge deal. Anyone have good ideas on how to mod this so it give me a manual switch but still allows lcd rotation and closing? there isnt much clearance in that area of the camera.
