Can you reformat the Dr-HD100 to record dvcproHD 720p from a hvx200?
Don't worry I aint giving up my hd100 just trying to use my gear on another shoot.
any info would be greatly appreciated

Technically, I believe the FS-100 and the DR-HD100 are exactly the same unit, but with different firmware/software which does the recording (I know the FS-4 and FS-4 HD are the same unit with different software.) So the answer is no.
What would be nice is to record HDV from the JVC straight to DVCProHD. That'd be sweet and save alot of time. (Though, I'm probably going to start doing more things in ProRes instead of DVCProHD.)

Nope. Unless Focus made a firmware updater that would change the firmware to support DVCProHD--which could happen, but it would probably cost several hundred dollars.
