Hi!
Found www.digitalrev.com which apparently have very good prices. Anybody here has experiences of buying from them?

Well, at first when I looked at the prices they seemed very good, but then I spoke to the Customs here, and they add 12,5% to the buying price, then I have to pay 25% Swedish VAT on top of all that, so the cost then is above the prices in Sweden.
I am a person who prefers to stay on the safe side of the laws, so it seems better buying within the European Union for me (custom free area), especially from Germany where the VAT is lower than here (VAT is paid in the country of buying). (product: Canon A1)

Urban,
Welcome to DVINFO. We have a strict policy of directing all where to buy questions towards our sponsors. They are screened by the site owner, Chris Hurd, for fair pricing and more importantly, customer service. We now have a sponsor in Europe, Videogear (www.videogear.co.uk). Please try to do business with them since they help make this information resource available to you free of charge.
regards,
Greg Boston

I have purchased a number of items through DigitalRev - including my new Canon XL H1, which I was tracking via there mail tracking system today (hope to take delivery around Tuesday).
They do have good prices and I have always found them to provide an excellent service. My XL H1 was purchased with a guaranteed no tax offer whereby customs tax is refunded - if charged. I simply fax them a copy of the customs notice and they refund the tax within 24 hours. To date I have bought a Canon 5d and 100 - 400mm L Lens through DigitalRev.
