Have any of you been exploring the realm of camcorder support mechanisms -- those gizmos attaching to the shoulder and/or belt to provide a steadier handheld shot?

If so, would appreciate knowing your perspectives on which ones seem like a worthwhile investment to use with HV20.

thanks,
Gene

Hi Gene,

Could you tell us what kind of Videography you plan to be doing ??, that way we can give better suggestions.

Do a search on my posts, for Pics of units that I have either modified or built myself. Cheap and easy to make stuff. Might give you some ideas.

Why don't you try a monopod? You can add to it for another point of support is necessary. I don't even bother to use my hand alone when a monopod makes it easier and adds a few dimensions.
