I've never seen this before and am a little stumped. So I have this short video of piano/flowers etc, I want the video (dvd background) to end on the flowers which is from an image and bump map it in the end while the music is ending.

Well for what ever reason, when the video stopped, the image would degrade, almost like a very thin set of vertical blinds on the last frame I would imagine. My goal is to have the video stop on the picture which is fully visible.
I was hoping that I could set an end point for the dvd background, but DVDA has that option greyed out.

I'll take any help at this point. :}

I usually create my animated backgrounds in Vegas and then import them into DVDA as I find that I have a lot more control.

I just figured DVDA is for organizing the media not for compositing it.

Well, I decided to take a simple picture, unadulterated, and make it an avi, slap it into DVDA for a background. Same thing, in 'preview' when the preview gets to the end, the image degrades, almost as if it's fading but not your nomal fade to color or something.

Is it not possible then to have your own animated background that stops and doesn't loop?

Loop your menu. If it gets to the end, it will distort the video at the end. If you want the still at the end, make the still play longer inside of vegas. Once it gets to the end you will need to loop it or activate a link or it will distort.

To loop, go to your menu and select END ACTION, Command to LOOP or Activate Button. You can also have it activate something at the end, such as a link on the menu.
