An interview with director Zack Snyder on how he achieved the look for 300 and an interview with cinematographer Richard Bluck, who used the RedOne camera on Peter Jackson's WWI short Crossing the Line, lead the line-up of new articles to go live on the Showreel website (www.showreel.org/memberarea).

New FREEVIEW articles include Liz Smith's article on using the P+S Technik Mini35 and Pro35 lens adaptors, Scott Lehane's explanation of the Silicon Imaging SI-2K workflow, Dado Valentic's analysis of the rights and wrongs of DVCPRO HD workflows, Miguel d'Oliveira's interview with sound designer Paul Davies about his approach to sound on recent movies, including The Queen, and a profile of The Brothers McLeod, who have launched successful animation careers following their posting of free animations on the net. Previous member article, Scott Lehane's interview with David Fincher about his use of the Grass Valley Viper on Zodiac and Benjamin Button, has also been made FREEVIEW. These join previous FREEVIEW articles that include David Valentine's interview with The Fountain director Darren Aronofsky, Geoff Boyle's pieces on lensing Mutant Chronicles and tests of the Canon A1/G1, the JVC HD250/251 and the Sony V1.
