Okay. I have Neo HDV. Captures great with HD Link. I'm using with Vegas 7, and I also have Premiere 2.0 I captured from my HV20, using pulldown, from footage I shot in the 24p setting.
Now question is this. When I work with the intermediate files, and I am finished editing, I want to render my product to another intermediate file to compile with others from my final project. So in vegas, I select avi to out put, and select HDV 1081 Intermediate 24p.
I get a message License Required: Not Licensed for Cineform HD encoding. Plese visit www.cineform.com to purchase your upgrade....
I had installed NeoHDV player but uninstalled, before reinstalling, first HDConnect, then the upgrade to NeoHDV.
So shouldn't I have the ability to render to the intermediate codec, as I tried ? I thought one of the benefits was ability to render over and over with little quality loss.
