Someone shut the LCD on my HVX while an allen wrench was taped in place to flip the image. Now the image stays upright no matter what, the eyepiece doesn't work w/ the LCD shut, and the only way to see the "flipped" image is to shut the LCD facing outward and nobody has fessed up.
Where do I go from here?

Where do I go from here?
To the repair center, unfortunately. Best to call Panasonic and explain what happened.
And try to keep the language clean. I edited your post a little bit.

Jon,
We can provide you with an estimate if you like in a timely fashion. This has been happening a lot and it seems that the result is usually a broken LCD assembly.
Go to the www.spec-comm.com link below and click on "Service". You will find a list of selections on the left. Click on "Schedule Your Repair" and fill out the form. Then click on "Shipping Instructions" to get the appropriate address and some helpful tips to prevent shipping damage.
I hope that we get the opportunity to help you out.
Best regards,
Andrew Hoffman
