I am working on a POV project. Saturday, I shot some of the ground work and posted a 38MB 720p WMV-HD video. It is only 1m15s long. But being portable helps big time. I logged 11.8miles on single track trails carrying a Glidecam, a monopod, the camera, 4 litres of water, and tools. HC7 with a Raynox Pro5050.

Sounds like a sweet setup George!

Unfortunately, My computer can not play this file. :(
But I thought I would say that I wish you luck and happy biking anyways!

I love mountain biking, and this sounds like it was a blast!

Best wishes!

My work computer with integrated Intel video struggles a bit too. If you can't view it because you are on a Mac, try Flip4mac's site and get the WMV download.

Very nice. I think my HV20 would not be that crisp shooting that action. At least in my hands. Which glidecam were you using? That was fabulously stable over some rugged single track.

George, do you have a picture of your setup?

I have a picture of my gear in this thread http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=94620

And I have one pic of my bike attached.

Matt, I am using a 2000. 1 big washer each and fully extended (I have to recalibrate on the trail, but it takes me less than 5 minutes now). I have a Bogen QR plate and the RC0 QR (hexagon) that I attach.
