The Smooth Shooter arm upgrade should be released in about 3 weeks...cost around $700. I can't wait! Adds a second spring section.

Buba Kastorski June 12th, 2007, 08:32 AM Where did you get that info, I send an email to the sales they don't know when and the price, I'd really like to get an upgrated one, Thanks! Charles King June 12th, 2007, 04:13 PM Buba, the info is realiable. I can say much until Terry announces it himself but I can tell you that it will be very flexible in some very unexpected situations. ;) Buba Kastorski June 13th, 2007, 06:49 AM Good, thanks, can't wait, would be exactly what I need Cheers. Terry Thompson June 14th, 2007, 11:39 PM Actually Charles, I think they were talking about the Glidecam Smooth Shooter. Glidecam is adding an extra articulated arm to hold their 2000 and 4000 Pro sleds. I tried it out and it's better than the single if even just for the larger boom range. With regards to our own Indicam PILOT double upgraded arm...We're still at the mercy of our machinists and they don't seem to be in any hurry. I suppose we will need to find some other good machinists who are "more hungry". We do have four units that are ready to go though. I'll have to announce what the double upgraded arm can do in a different thread so this can stay on topic. I think it will be very interesting to say the least. Tery Indicam |
