Trying to find a decent Custom Preset (or tweak/create one..) for lowish light indoors (wedding party scenario). I was expecting a little more light than was actually available at a wedding yesterday.. I quickly eyeballed a few presets and chose CP8.. When I compared the footage with my VX2100 (both shot in SD 4:3), the XH-A1 looked quite a lot softer than the VX, and had a lot of problems focussing correctly. On the Canon I had to use +3dB & +6dB gain to get anything close to usable..
Anyone got a good low light setting for indoors with rather poor lighting..?
Many thanks, rgds, Ross.

Perhaps do a little searching.... here is a link to the two presets I posted in the preset forum. http://dvinfo.net/conf/showpost.php?p=680667&postcount=123

The lowlight one is the best I've made yet, but then again, it may not be what you're looking for. If you tried that one and didn't like it, then my appologies for posting it here.
