Raylight 3.0 is released, a free upgrade to all registered users
for editing HVX200 MXF files in Vegas and Premiere. Get it at dvfilm.com/update.
The most significant new feature is a new quality level called
Raylight Green, which is high resolution but about 2-3X faster than
Raylight Blue and uses DirectX technology for smooth playback from
Windows Media Player. Full-screen playback is now possible for a wide
range of computer systems. Check here for some benchmark tests
on a dual-core AMD:
http://dvfilm.com/raylight/raylightSpeed.htm
Other improvements include faster rendering of previews,
and non-recompressed rendering of both MXF and AVI files
for zero-loss editing.
