Hi all. I wonder if anyone can tell me from experience about powering a 12v phantom microphone with 48 volts: ie. Using the SD 302 to power a schoeps cmc3u. I read that you can, but that it draws considerably more current.

yep it works , , but why should you the the 302 has 12 v phantom
if you power the cmc-3 with 48 it drows about 11 ma
