Just letting you all know I've set up this photo group on Flickr specifically for HV20 photos and frame grabs. So come along an join up. There are no restrictions, so members are welcome to upload as many photos or frame grabs as they wish. Flickr use very minimal compression, so your photos will always look great. Be aware if you join for free your photos will be reduced to a maximum width or height of 1024.
I essentially set up the group as being somewhere to visit and see what others are doing with this camera. A source of inspiration I guess, and quick to view without having to download any huge video files.
So far all my clips are frame grabs from video as I don't yet have a Mini SD card. If you have a copy of the VLC player, these are easy to grab. Play your video, pause it on a frame that looks good, select 'snapshot' to save that frame as either a jpg or png file, upload it to Flickr, add it to the group and you're done! Where the photos are saved from VLC player can be set in it's preferences.
